Consultancy Services Refund Policy

Non-Refundable Services

Consultancy fees are non-refundable once services have been delivered. This includes completed consultations, delivered reports, strategic plans, analysis, and any other intellectual property or advisory services that have been provided to the client.

Due to the nature of consultancy work, which involves the transfer of knowledge, expertise, and customized solutions, these services cannot be "returned" once delivered. Our consultants invest significant time and expertise in preparing and delivering tailored solutions for each client.

Prepaid Package Refunds

Full Refund (7+ Days Before)

Prepaid service packages can be refunded in full if cancellation occurs 7 or more days before the scheduled start date. This allows us adequate time to reallocate resources and adjust our scheduling.

Pro-Rata Refund (Within 7 Days)

If cancellation occurs within 7 days of the start date, unused services may be refunded on a pro-rata basis, calculated based on services not yet delivered or initiated.

Refund Process & Timeline

How to Request a Refund

  1. Submit Written Request: Email admin@silvergate.group with your refund request
  2. Include Required Information: Service agreement number, reason for cancellation, and preferred refund method
  3. Review Period: We will review your request within 3-5 business days
  4. Refund Processing: Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days
  5. Refund Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method when possible

Service-Specific Refund Terms

Monthly Retainer Services

Monthly retainers can be cancelled with 30 days written notice. No refund for the current month's services, but future months will not be charged.

Project-Based Services

For multi-phase projects, refunds are calculated based on completed phases. Completed phases are non-refundable, while unstarted phases may be eligible for full refund.

Emergency/Rush Services

Services marked as "emergency" or "rush" with expedited timelines are non-refundable due to the immediate resource allocation required.

Exceptions & Special Circumstances

We understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. We will consider refund requests outside of this policy on a case-by-case basis for:

  • Documented medical emergencies
  • Natural disasters or force majeure events
  • Significant changes in business circumstances beyond client control
  • Service delivery issues attributable to SILVERGATE GROUP LLC
